Will Run for Beer Chicago 5K & Brewfest - October 24, 2026
The 4th Annual Will Run for Beer Chicago 5K takes place in Lincoln Park, Chicago and includes a post-race Brewfest and a virtual 5K option. The event combines a timed or untimed 5K with a festival featuring local breweries, live music, and food.

Registration for the 5K includes a commemorative bottle opener finisher medal, an official Will Run for Beer tasting glass, exclusive event swag, free participant photos, and access to the post-race Brewfest. Complimentary craft beer samples and Oktoberfest-inspired food are offered for participants aged 21 and older.
The Brewfest is open to spectators and offers beer tastings from local breweries, live music, and festival-style food. Brewfest tickets are listed at $35 in advance and $40 onsite while supplies last. Packet mailing closes three weeks before the live event on October 4, 2026 at 11:59 PM CST. Online registration closes at noon the day before the live event unless sold out; there is no race day registration.
Participant and safety rules note a minimum running age of 8 years, a required minimum pace of 15 minutes per mile for the 5K, and a prohibition on dogs and unauthorized wheeled devices on course. A wheelchair division and AWD accommodations are available under the event's stated guidelines.
