Shivering Shadows 7K
The Shivering Shadows 7K is an annual night run and walk hosted by the City of Wildwood. The course uses LaSalle Springs Middle School at 3300 Highway 109 in Wildwood, Missouri as the start and finish area and gradually takes participants into the dark woods of Zombie Road. The event is presented as an evening run and walk with a course through wooded terrain.
The event includes a participant shirt, post race refreshments, music, and opportunities for socializing. Awards are presented to the top three finishers in each age group and to the top three overall male and female finishers. Packet pickup is available at Wildwood City Hall, 16860 Main Street, on Thursday, October 22 and Friday, October 23 with additional pickup at LaSalle Springs Middle School on the evening of the event. Costumes are welcome and organizers advise participants to bring lights for the night course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
