Wildwood Navy Seal Challenge

The Wildwood Navy Seal Challenge is an annual swim-run obstacle event hosted by the Wildwood Beach Patrol. The 8th edition takes place on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Lincoln Ave and the beach in Wildwood, New Jersey. Races combine ocean swimming, running, and an obstacle course built from sand and water features.

Events and course

The event offers individual, four-person team, land run only, and kids run challenge formats. Obstacles include sand hills to run over and sections of water to run through. In the team challenge, team members carry a pipe together while completing the obstacles.

Logistics

Event parking is provided at the Baker Avenue Parking Lot. The organizer states there will be no access from Schellenger Avenue. Published entry prices are $35 for the individual challenge, $140 for the four-person team, $35 for the land run only, and $25 for the kids run.
