Event Overview
The Wildcat 5K Trail Run-Walk-Wag takes place on Saturday, May 30, 2026. This is the event's ninth edition. The address is 4a Stiles Pond Road in Boxford, Massachusetts.
Location & Course
The event starts and finishes at the Danvers YMCA Camp, which overlooks Stiles Pond. The course uses trails within the Wildcat State Forest. The route features ponds, vernal pools, and scenic surroundings. There are separate courses for runners and for walkers (and those walking with dogs, "waggers").
Event Details & Awards
The event includes a 5K run and a walk. The post-race celebration includes treats for all participants. One participant will have the chance to win a $150 gift card to the New England Running Company.
Cash prizes are offered for the fastest male and female runners. Special gift card prizes are offered for the second and third fastest male and female runners. Participants who register by March 31, 2026, receive a special race shirt. All participants receive a special cinch bag with coupons and treats.
