Wild Wild West Marathon & Ultra : Lone Pine, CA : May 1, 2027
This trail running event takes place in Lone Pine, California on May 1, 2027, and is organized by the Lone Pine Chamber of Commerce. The race has been hosted for 46 years and is described as the third oldest trail marathon in the United States.

- 10 Miler (10 miles)
The course runs through the Alabama Hills and the foothills of Mt. Whitney. Ten water stops or aid stations are positioned along the course. The route is subject to change and requires approval from government agencies; final routing may be altered for safety or administrative reasons. The Lone Pine Chamber operates under permit on the Inyo National Forest.
Registration closes on Monday, April 26 at 11:59 PM PT. The event policy states that no refunds are given. Participants who withdraw up to 30 days before the race may receive a 50% credit toward next year’s event registration; canceled events due to pandemic, extreme weather, community disaster, or other force majeure receive neither refunds nor credits. Late-entry participants who register three weeks or less before the race may not receive a t-shirt; same-day registration at the start is accepted.
