At the summit there is a mountaintop BBQ, live music and games, and opportunities for self-guided exploration of the abandoned town.

Camping and parking information: a nearby campground in Keeler offers spots less than 1/4 mile from the start for $20 per spot with restroom access. Lone Pine, 15 miles away, provides additional lodging options. BLM land around the area allows free camping for up to 14 days.
