Overview

The Wild West Relay is a point-to-point running relay across Colorado held July 31 to August 1, 2026. The course runs from Fort Collins, CO to Steamboat Springs, CO and covers 200 Miles. The event accepts solo entrants and teams. Listed team categories include: 12 person team (7-12 runners), Ultra team (4-6 runners), Super Ultra team (1-3 runners), and a High School Team. The race is organized by the team at miles.Beyond and run.Windsor and features live GPS tracking for teams.

Format and logistics

The event starts in Fort Collins and finishes at Steamboat Springs Ski Resort. Gear check and team packet pickup are available in Fort Collins on the Thursday before the race and on race morning one hour before each team start. Each team carries a GPS tracker for tracking via MAProgress and race details are available through the Endurance HQ athlete app. Teams may provide two volunteers or pay a volunteer fee that is payable to the nonprofit Windsor Gives for distribution to supporting nonprofit groups.
