Wild River Dash

Wild River Dash is a paddle and run duathlon hosted by Wild Hearts Idaho in the Treasure Valley. The event includes paddling on Quinn's Pond and a run on the Boise Greenbelt. Participants may register as individuals or as a two-person relay with one person paddling and the other running. The event welcomes a range of ages and separates participants into age groups: Adults 18 plus, Teens 12 to 17, and Kids 5 to 11.

All race proceeds support Wild Hearts Idaho programs by funding transportation to outdoor adventures. The course format is described as an out-and-back paddle followed by a loop run. Equipment requirements include properly tagged personal kayaks, paddle boards, or canoes with an invasive species sticker. Paddleboards are available on site from Hydrus Board Tech and Idaho River Sports offers rental options for registered participants.

Packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet Meridian. The location for the event is Esther Simplot Park near Quinn's Pond and the Boise Greenbelt. The organizer notes that volunteers and participants receive event swag and that relay and individual entries are both offered.
