Wild Bill 5k : event overview
The Wild Bill 5k is scheduled for Saturday, August 1, 2026 in Raleigh, NC at Seven Oaks Swim and Racquet Club (2500 Howard Road, 27613). Logistics and race details
Race capacity for the 5k is 500 runners. Entry fees for the 5k vary by registration date: $35 if registered by December 31, 2025; $40 between January 1 and June 30, 2026; $45 after July 1, 2026. Youth fun run entry is $25 and includes a T-shirt. To guarantee a race T-shirt, register by July 10.
Timing for the 5k uses Chip Bib timing; the youth race uses a running clock and non-chip bibs. Awards will be given to the top 3 overall (male and female), top 3 overall masters (male and female), and top 3 in each age group; overall awards use gun time and age-group awards use chip/net time. Water stations are located at miles 1 and 2. Limited parking is available at Seven Oaks, with additional parking on Stonehenge Drive and at the Diocese building lot on Creedmoor Road. Post-race food and beverages will be available; alcohol for participants requires valid ID. The event will proceed rain or shine; refunds are not provided for weather-related cancellations.
