Event overview
The Wild Bill 5k is scheduled for Saturday, August 1, 2026 in Raleigh, NC at Seven Oaks Swim and Racquet Club (2500 Howard Road, 27613). The event includes a 5k race and a youth fun run of approximately 1/2 mile for ages 1 to 10. The 5k course is USATF certified, course number NC21006BDS. The 5k has a capacity of 500 runners. Registration fees for the 5k are tiered: $35 if registered by December 31, 2025; $40 for registrations between January 1 and June 30, 2026; $45 for registrations after July 1, 2026. The youth run fee is $25 and includes a t-shirt and race swag.
All 5k participants will have chip bib timing; the youth run will use a running clock and non-chip bibs. Water stations are located at miles 1 and 2. Awards are given to top 3 overall male and female, top 3 overall masters male and female, and top 3 in each age group; overall awards use gun time and age-group awards use chip/net time. Race rules note no headphones, no pets, strollers start at the back, and a 60-minute completion window for the 5k prior to the youth run.
