Raleigh Holiday Half Marathon 2026
The 2026 Raleigh Holiday Half Marathon takes place on Saturday, December 5th on the Capital Area Greenway System, following the Crabtree Creek Greenway. The event is a half marathon race that uses the local greenway network in Raleigh.
All finishers receive a unique 2026 Raleigh Half Marathon finisher’s medal. The Top 75 men and Top 75 women overall, plus age group winners in first place who are not in the Top 75, receive a Raleigh Holiday Half Marathon coffee mug. The top three male and top three female finishers receive prize money. A $250 bonus is available for event records.
The race entry is limited to 750 runners. The event is directed and promoted by Sir Walter Running, a Raleigh based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Sir Walter Running describes its mission as bringing the Greater Raleigh running community together through innovation, activation, and inclusivity. The organization is a USATF club and is also involved in other local running events and activities, including races, short distance series, community challenges, and a podcast.
