Event
The 2025 Raleigh Holiday Half Marathon takes place on Saturday, December 6, on the Crabtree Creek Greenway, part of the Capital Area Greenway System in Raleigh. The race returns to this course and will be limited to 750 runners.
Awards and organizer
All finishers receive a 2025 Raleigh Half Marathon finisher's medal. The Top 75 men and Top 75 women overall, plus age-group winners (1st) who are not in the Top 75, receive a Raleigh Holiday Half Marathon coffee mug. The Top 3 male and Top 3 female finishers receive prize money, and a $250 bonus is available for event records. The event is directed and promoted by Sir Walter Running, a Raleigh-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit and USATF club. Sir Walter Running produces other local running events and initiatives, including the Sir Walter Miler, the Pop Up Miles series, the Raleigh RunDown Downhill Mile, Strava challenges, and the Summer of Miles podcast.
