Entries and logistics
The entry fee for the Wigan Half is £28.00. The event has an entry limit of 1,500 places; at the time listed there were 483 entries and 1,017 places remaining. Entries close on 11th March 2026. Editing of details and transfer of entries is allowed until 2nd January 2026.
All runners will be allocated a race number and an individual timing chip. Race numbers will be posted from 1st March 2026. If the event cannot go ahead, entries will be rolled over to the 2027 event; if a virtual event is offered instead, runners taking part in the virtual event will receive their medal and t-shirt by post.
