Wicked Wine Run - Williamsburg Winery
The Wicked Wine Run takes place at The Williamsburg Winery in Newport News, Virginia. This event combines physical activity with wine tasting across a scenic vineyard setting. Participants must be 21 years of age or older to attend, and age verification is required for all runners and spectators.
The event features two main distances:

The 5 km distance is open to both runners and walkers. Participants in this category receive an event bib, a shirt, and a finisher medal. Upon crossing the finish line, participants are provided with a glass of wine. The course includes two water stations to assist with hydration.
The 1 km distance is designed as a tasting walk. It includes three sampling stations along the course where participants receive one-ounce wine tastings, followed by a fourth tasting at the finish line. Those registered for this distance receive a dedicated wine glass, an event bib, and a shirt.
The venue grounds host an after party featuring food trucks, music, and various games. Entertainment includes dance and costume contests. Folding chairs and blankets are permitted for those wishing to stay for the post-race festivities. Parking is available on-site for a fee, and packet pickup options include race-day collection, designated pre-event times, or mail delivery for an additional charge.
