The event takes place at Williamsburg Winery on May 15, 2027. It offers two main options: a tasting-oriented 1K walk and a 5K run or walk. Both race options include an event bib and a SKECHERS Wicked Wine Run event shirt. The 1K includes three 1 oz wine tastings along the course and a fourth tasting at the finish served in a provided wine glass. The 5K includes a free wine glass with wine at the finish, a finisher medal, and water stations on course and at the finish.
Additional on-site features include race bags and goods, food trucks, aid stations, sampling stations, games, music, a finish-line wine service, a dance contest, costume contests with prizes, and an after party. A spectator tasting-only ticket is available and includes an etched wine glass and bracelet to allow on-site wine purchases.
Packet pickup details will be posted two weeks before the event; packet pickup is primarily at the venue on race day. A packet delivery option is available for $20 and includes automatic check-in. Parking at the venue may cost up to $20 cash per vehicle. All participants and spectators must be 21 and over; age verification is required at packet pickup or on race day.
