The Wicked Wine Run takes place at Andrew Jackson's Hermitage in Nashville, Tennessee. This historic property serves as the backdrop for a series of events that combine physical activity with wine tasting. Participants must be 21 years of age or older to attend as runners or spectators, and age verification is required for all attendees.
Participants can choose from several event options:
- 5K Run/Walk: A scenic course through the historic property with waves starting every few minutes; participants have 90 minutes to complete the route.
- 1K Tasting Walk: A laid-back stroll featuring three sampling stations along the course and a final tasting at the finish line.
- 1K and 5K Combo: An option for those who wish to participate in both distances.
Registration for the 5K includes an event shirt, a bib, a finisher medal, and a wine glass filled with wine at the finish line. The 1K entry includes an event shirt, a bib, a wine glass, and four total tasting pours. The venue features two water stations along the course and an additional station at the finish line.
The event site includes an after-party area with food trucks, music, and games. Participants may take part in dance and costume contests for various prizes. Foldable chairs and blankets are permitted for use in the common areas. For those not running, a spectator tasting-only ticket is available for purchase at the merchandise tent.
