This event combines short-distance running and wine sampling at Galway Downs in Temecula. It offers two course options and an on-site festival with food trucks, games, contests, and an after party. Participation and attendance are restricted to those 21 and older; age verification and ID are required at packet pickup or on event day.
Packet pickup details will be posted two weeks before the event. Packet pickup is otherwise held on race day at the venue; packets may be mailed for a $20 fee, which also provides automatic check-in. Parking at the venue may cost up to $20 cash per vehicle.
Ticketed inclusions differ by distance. The 1K option includes multiple 1 oz wine tastings during the walk and a final sample in a provided wine glass, an event bib, and an event shirt. The 5K option includes a finish-line wine serving with a free glass, an event bib, an event shirt, and a finisher medal. Both options include access to the after party.
Other on-site features include race bags and goods, aid stations, water available along the 5K course and at the finish, sampling stations, food trucks, a dance contest, costume contests, and vendor or merch areas.
