Wicked Way 5K
The Wicked Way 5K is a low-frills Halloween road race held on October 31, 2026, on Miller Creek Road near the Batesville Soccer Complex in Batesville, Arkansas. The event is presented by OK Timing Plus and is intended as a test of interest in creating a local series of races with varying distances and terrain.
The course is a simple out and back between the horse arena gate and Harry Road and will use bib or bib-chip timing. The same route was used in 2022 and 2023 as part of the For the Love of Running 5K/10K event.
There are no T-shirts or giveaways for this inaugural running. Awards include Top 3 male and Top 3 female overall, finishers medals for all participants, and Top 3 male/female age-group stickers affixed to the back of the medals. Aid is provided at the 2.5K turnaround as a water station, and finish line fluids and snacks are available.
Registration opens on October 11, 2026 and closes on October 31, 2026. The entry fee is $25. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
