Cave City Holiday Parade 2 Mile
The event is a two mile community race and walk that starts and finishes at Cave City Middle School. The course runs down Highway 167 to the stop light on Center, turns right, and returns through the scenic backstreets via Matlock Road. Highway 167 will be a closed course during the event and the runners will lead the annual Christmas Parade. An after party at Cave City Middle School follows the race and is included with race entry.

Registration opens July 13, 2026 and closes December 9, 2026. Pre-registration fee is $20. Day of race registration is $25. The entry fee includes a T-shirt for racers registered by November 29, cookies, and after party admission; T-shirts for later registrants are provided while supplies last. A walkers division has separate awards for the top three male and female walkers. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to top three male and female in each age group: 0-9; 10-14; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 and over.
Parking is available at the elementary school, the lots between the elementary and middle schools, the softball/baseball gravel lot, and the lot by the tennis courts off Terrie Street.
