Cave City Holiday Parade 2 Mile
The event offers a two mile running option and a new two mile walking division along a set route through Cave City. The course starts at the Cave City Middle School, follows Highway 167 to the Center Street traffic light, then turns right and finishes along Matlock Road through the backstreets of town. Highway 167 will be closed to traffic for the event and a large parade crowd will gather as runners lead the annual Christmas Parade.
Entry fees include a T-shirt for registrants who meet the pre-registration deadline, cookies, and access to the post-race gathering held at the Cave City Middle School. Day-of registration is available at a higher fee and shirts after the deadline are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
Awards are given to the top three male and top three female overall, and to the top three male and female in each age group: 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
Parking is available at the Elementary School, the lots between the Elementary and Middle School, the softball/baseball gravel lot, and the lot by the tennis courts off Terrie Street.
