Event Overview
The Run For A Reason: Child Abuse Awareness 5k is a family-oriented athletic event held in Batesville, Arkansas. The primary purpose of the gathering is to raise awareness for child abuse while raising funds for Foster Your Community, a non-profit organization that has supported local foster children since 2019.
The event takes place at the Pocket Park located at 325 E. Main Street. Participants have the option to either walk or run the course. In addition to the race, various activities are organized within the park area for attendees to enjoy.
Participation and Awards
The event features a single main distance:
- 5 km (walk or run)
Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers. Registration includes a t-shirt for those who sign up by the specified early deadline of March 23rd. Packet pickup and sign-in services are available at the Pocket Park on the morning of the event.
Post-Race Activities
