Crossover Half : Paradise, UT
The Crossover Half is a road and country course held on June 12, 2027 in Paradise, Utah, based at Little Bear River Retreat (878 Baxter Hollow). The event includes a half marathon and a four mile race and uses quiet gravel and dirt roads with some paved sections.
The half marathon follows an out-and-back route. The opening miles rise gradually across rural roads. Around miles 5 to 6 participants encounter a steeper ascent, then a short descent to the turnaround before retracing the route and returning to the retreat. Terrain is primarily runnable gravel and dirt with occasional pavement.
Aid stations and support are placed along the course at roughly miles 2.2, 4.2, 5.2, 6.2, 7, 9, 11, and at the finish. Stations provide hydration, portable toilets, and volunteer assistance. Chip timing is used and official results are available at the finish.
Awards include cash prizes for the top five men and top five women, age group prizes, finisher medals for all participants, and a postrace raffle where recipients must be present to win. Lodging is available at Little Bear River Retreat with shared cabins, limited RV spots (20 to 25 feet max), and reserved tent sites; overnight stays must be reserved in advance and are nonrefundable.
