5K HOPstacle Run
The 5K HOPstacle Run is scheduled for Saturday, April 11 at Virgil Gibbons Heritage Park, 2456 S 800 W, Nibley, UT. The event centers on a 5 Kilometers (3.1 miles) course that starts and finishes at the same location on a well marked route. The surface is described as smooth and flat on hard ground. Professional chip timing is provided and finish line results are posted via RunnerCard.
The race includes optional HOPstacles. Each optional HOPstacle completed earns an entry to the SUPER Prize Drawing. Registered participants receive a shirt, a finisher bag with recovery treats, race bag freebies, and access to post race awards and prize drawings.
Prizes are awarded to top runners in each age division for both male and female categories. The Adaptive Roll division awards prizes to the top three finishers. Several special categories offer additional prizes, including best finish-line bunny hop performance, the funnest pair for household members who cross together, a stroller runner prize for the first finisher pushing a live child, and a canine runner prize for top dogs running with their owner on leash.
