Wicked Rogaines Spring Series 2025
Wicked Rogaines Spring Series runs on 22nd & 29th October and 5th, 12th & 19th November 2025 and takes place mostly off road around the Port Hills and nearby locations. The five event venues listed for the series are Victoria Park, Halswell Quarry, Taylors Mistake, Mount Vernon Park, and Christchurch Adventure Park.
Rogaining is a team navigation event in which teams travel on foot between checkpoints using map and compass, visiting as many controls as possible within the time allowed. Team sizes may be two to six members; teams containing a member under fourteen must include someone aged eighteen or over. Shorter duration rogaines often allow solo competitors.

Mandatory equipment includes a polypropylene base layer top, waterproof jacket, hat and gloves, suitable footwear, water, whistle, headlamp with batteries, one cellphone per team and one compass per team. Suggested additional items include a highlighter, gaiters or tights, trekking poles and a first aid kit per team.
Entry options include whole-series and per-event pricing with separate rates for adults, students and secondary school competitors. The refund policy offers 60% refund up to two weeks before an event, 40% up to one week before, and no refund for cancellations less than one week before.
