Triple Threat Hybrid Fitness Comp - Christchurch
The Triple Threat Hybrid Fitness Comp is a team based hybrid fitness competition held in Christchurch on 18 October 2026 at 101 Durham Street. Teams are composed of four members and may enter as male, female, or mixed teams. Two skill divisions are offered: Open and Advanced.
The competition is divided into three workout zones: Strength, Endurance, and Metcon. In the Open division the Strength zone uses a 3RM bench press and a 3RM conventional barbell deadlift. Endurance for Open is measured as maximum metres on ski and RowErg over an 18 minute window. In the Advanced division the Strength zone uses a 1RM front squat and a 1RM weighted chin-up. Advanced Endurance measures maximum metres on ski, row, and bike ergs in an 18 minute window. Metcon workouts for both divisions are announced closer to the competition.
Teams work together to produce combined team totals for each zone; for example, team strength scores are the sum of all four members’ lifts. The event runs as a rolling clock with teams moving through the Strength zone, then Endurance, and finishing at the Metcon zone, with a twenty minute recovery period between zones. Event sponsors and on-site activations are present during the competition. Entry is by team with tiered pricing based on entry order. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
