10th Annual Wicked Fast 5K
The 10th Annual Wicked Fast 5K is a 5K (3.12 miles) running event held on 10/10/2026 in Troutman, North Carolina. The course begins at 137 S. Main St at the Downtown Depot and follows Eastway Drive and the Richardson Greenway to Grannis Lane before returning to the start. The course is described as flat.
The event has a Halloween theme and encourages participants to wear costumes. Organizers provide a glow bracelet for visibility, a water station at the halfway mark, and restrooms at the start and finish. Packet pickup is available at the Troutman Parks and Recreation Office and also on race day at the Downtown Depot. Participants who register by 9/25 are guaranteed a T shirt. Awards are given to the overall top male and female and to the top three male and female in each five year age group beginning at age 10. Parking options include the Wagner Street parking lot, Troutman Town Hall, and Troutman ESC Park. The event runs rain or shine. Registration fees are non refundable; bib numbers must be worn by the registrant to whom they are assigned and must be clearly visible. On the greenway participants must stay to the right.
