Wicked 10K Weekend - Virginia Beach
The Wicked 10K Weekend is a Halloween-themed race weekend held at the Virginia Beach oceanfront. The event features multiple race distances and on-course Halloween entertainment along the oceanfront near the Virginia Beach Convention Center and Boardwalk. The 10K course runs from 19th Street and finishes at 20th Street on the Virginia Beach Boardwalk.
The weekend includes the following distances:
- 10K : 6.2 miles
- 5K : 3.1 miles
- Monster Mile
Course and event support include three hydration and water stops located at approximately miles 2, 4 and 5, plus portable restrooms at the start/finish and adjacent to each water stop. The course is certified (VA22028RT) and has a posted time limit of two hours (20:00 minutes per mile). All 10K participants receive a finisher medal and a technical race shirt. The post-race celebration includes beer, finisher food, and entertainment provided as part of registration.
Additional event details note that children under age 10 are recommended to have a registered parent on course and that dogs are not permitted on the race course. Participants can combine the Monster Mile with the Friday night event to complete the Pumpkin Smash Challenge, for which separate registration is required.
