About the race
The Wicked 10K Weekend is a multi-race event at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront centered around the Virginia Beach Convention Center and the Boardwalk. Races pass along the oceanfront and finish at 20th Street and the Virginia Beach Boardwalk. The event includes race distances, a Monster Mile, costume contests, an expo, and a post race celebration on the beach at the 22nd Street Beach Street Access.

Course details note a flat and fast route with themed entertainment along the course. Course support includes three hydration and water stops located at approximately miles 2, 4 and 5, plus port-a-potties at the start and finish and adjacent to each water stop. The 10K is certified VA22028RT and has a course time limit of two hours (20:00 minutes per mile).
Participant items and amenities listed for finishers include a technical race shirt, a unique finisher medal, and 2026 finisher items. The post race celebration offers beer, finisher food, and entertainment and is included with registration. Costume contest judging and awards are held at the convention center and at the post race party on the beach. The Monster Mile can be used alongside the Pumpkin Smash Challenge; the challenge requires separate registration. Children under age 10 are recommended to have a registered parent on course. Dogs are not permitted on the race course.
