UCAPS Who Let The Dogs Out 5K
The event features a 5K run and a 1 mile walk in El Dorado, Arkansas, at 201 North Jackson Street on May 30, 2026. Proceeds will help feed, medicate, and find homes for abused and abandoned animals in Union County. The program is funded by donations and community fundraisers.

- 1 mile walk for participants who want to walk with leashed dogs or pets
Entry fees are listed as individual $30, child 12 and under $25, and race day $35. Each participant will receive a T-shirt; to be guaranteed a T-shirt of the chosen size, registration must be completed by May 18. Packet pick-up is at the race site on the morning of the race from 6:30 AM to 7:15 AM.
Course details are provided for both events. The 5K route begins at 201 N Jackson, proceeds down N Jackson, turns right at Faulkner, then left onto Madison, continues to the dead end, and returns the same way. The 1 mile walk follows N Jackson, turns right onto Faulkner, then left onto Madison and turns around at 3rd Street.
Awards include trophies and medals for the overall top three men and women, medals for the top three finishers in each age group, and medals for the overall top three finishers in the 1 mile walk. Age groups are 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
