Whittier Narrows Spring Running Festival
The event is scheduled for May 17, 2026 in South El Monte, CA at 750 S Santa Anita Ave. The course runs around Legg Lake and offers looped distances. Distances offered:
- 5K - one loop
- 10K - two loops, includes a 5K split time
- 15K - three loops, includes 5K and 10K split times
Entries, fees and packet pickup
The race uses tiered pricing with early bird rates; prices increase at set dates before race day. Age limits are specified: the 15K requires participants to be at least 11 years old, the 10K requires participants to be at least 10 years old, and the 5K is open to all ages. Packet pickup is available at Run With Us - Pasadena (235 N. Lake Avenue, Pasadena, CA) on May 16 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, and on race morning at the start location. Late registration is available at packet pickup and on race morning. On-site parking at Whittier Narrows is available for a fee of $7, payable by card or cash; entry via the main gate on Santa Anita Ave or Durfee Ave.
Services and awards
Timing is electronic chip timing. Participants receive a custom finisher medal; a custom race shirt and string bag are provided to the first 400 registrants. Finish line water and snacks, music, and on-site sports massage are provided. Overall top male and female winners in the 15K and 10K receive a $100 gift card.
