Whiteswan Mile
The Whiteswan Mile forms part of the Saskatchewan Athletics 2026 Road Mile Championship and is presented by the Saskatoon Road Runners Association. The event takes place on Innovation Boulevard at the University of Saskatchewan with parking near 18 Innovation Boulevard. Funds raised support the Huskie Athletics Track and Field and Cross Country Running teams.
Distances
- 1 mile: Open, U20, Masters, Invitational
- Half mile (800 m): kids aged 8 to 12
Course and timing The course runs on Innovation Boulevard and consists of 1.88 laps: the race begins with 0.88 of a lap to the finish line, then one full lap. The course is certified and features chip timing. The Invitational Mile is presented as record-eligible.
Competition and prizes The Open Mile awards prizes to the top three overall male and female finishers. The Invitational Mile offers prize money for the top five finishers and includes a velocity bonus if championship time standards are broken. Invitational entry standards are specified by target times. Invitational athletes receive complimentary sponsored entry.
Registration and bib pickup Open entry fees include early and regular rates with a member discount for SRRA members; a separate entry fee applies for the kids event. Bib pickup is available the day before at Brainsport and there is last-minute pickup at the start line on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
