Whiteswan Mile
The Whiteswan Mile takes place on July 12, 2026 at 18 Innovation Boulevard, Saskatoon, SK. It serves as the Saskatchewan Athletics 2026 Road Mile Championship and is presented by the Saskatoon Road Runners Association. The course has been redesigned and is described as flat and fast; chip timing is used on a certified course.
The event includes an Open Mile open to all runners and an Invitational Mile for athletes who meet specific performance standards. Invitational standards are listed for men and women and the Invitational Mile is record eligible on this course. Cash prizes are offered for overall Open results and for the top five Invitational finishers, with an additional velocity bonus if champions break set thresholds. Age-class winners receive non-cash prizes in U20, 20-34 and masters categories. Gender-diverse runners are welcome but are not currently eligible for age-class awards.
Funds raised support the Huskie Athletics Track and Field and Cross Country Running teams. Entry fees vary by registration date and SRRA membership status; a kids entry is available for ages 8 to 12 for a half mile event. Bib pick-up is at Innovation Place with parking by 18 Innovation Boulevard, and there is last-minute pickup at the start line. Award presentations and refreshments follow the races.
