White Lake Pro-Am Half Triathlon - May 1, 2027
The White Lake Pro-Am Half is a half-Iron distance triathlon held at Grand Regal at Goldston’s Beach in White Lake, North Carolina. The course distances are:
- Swim: 1.2 miles
- Bike: 56 miles
- Run: 13.1 miles
Events include PRO MEN, PRO WOMEN, Individual, Relay, and AquaBike. The swim takes place in White Lake’s clear, spring-fed water. The bike follows a flat, two-loop route on smooth roads. The run is a double out-and-back course that is mostly flat and offers partial shade along sections.
Race headquarters are at Goldston’s Beach, adjacent to lodging and onsite amenities such as a bar and restaurant, coffee service, a convenience store across the street, Dairy Queen, beach access, and nearby entertainment including putt putt and an arcade. Packet pickup is available the day before and on race morning; participants must present a photo ID and each person must collect their own packet. Race packets include two race numbers, a swim cap, and event swag.
Key rules and services: helmets are mandatory when riding to transition; no equipment rentals are provided; only participants may enter the transition area; a run bib is worn on the front during the run and the bike number is affixed to the bike top tube. Minimum age is 16. Course cutoffs follow USAT guidelines: swim 1:10:00, bike 5:30:00, run 8:30:00 from the final swim wave start. Awards, age groups, and participant swag are provided.
