White Lake Pro-Am Half Triathlon
The White Lake Pro-Am Half Triathlon takes place on May 1, 2027 at Grand Regal at Goldston's Beach in White Lake, North Carolina. The event includes pro and amateur fields with the following categories: PRO MEN, PRO WOMEN, Individual, Relay, and AquaBike.
Course distances:
- 1.2 mile swim
- 56 mile bike
- 13.1 mile run
The swim is held in White Lake and is described as clear water with a sandy bottom and no currents. The bike course is a flat, two-loop route on smooth roads. The run is a double out-and-back course that is also flat with partial shade in places. The race follows USAT cutoff guidelines with published swim, bike, and run cutoffs.
Event logistics and rules are published for athletes. Packet pick-up requires a valid photo ID and each participant must pick up their own packet. Bike helmets are mandatory when riding to the transition area. No on-site equipment rentals are available. Relay teams may consist of two or three members and have specific packet pickup and handoff procedures.
Amenities at the race site include lodging adjacent to the transition area, a bar and restaurant, coffee on race morning, a convenience store, and beach facilities. All participants receive event apparel and a finisher medal; a prize purse is awarded to the top five male and top five female pro finishers.
