White Horse Half Marathon
The White Horse Half Marathon is a road race held on a level and rural course that passes through the villages of the Vale of the White Horse. The event is organized by volunteers from the White Horse Harriers athletics club and is designed to take place on quiet country lanes.
The course is primarily flat, providing participants with the opportunity for fast times. The event features chip timing to ensure accurate results for all runners. Participants should note that the start line, finish line, race headquarters, and parking areas are located in different positions, requiring some walking between these sites.
Registration is open to individuals aged 17 and over. The event has a 2.5-hour cut-off time and maintains a policy regarding the use of headphones during the race. Facilities include water stations positioned along the route, with some stations utilizing paper cups.
