White Horse Half Marathon
The White Horse Half Marathon takes place on 29 March 2026. The race starts and finishes at Grove, near Wantage in Oxfordshire, and follows a level rural course through the Vale of the White Horse, passing through villages such as Denchworth, Lyford and Charney Bassett.
The event is organised entirely by volunteers from White Horse Harriers Athletics Club. The race is chip timed and every finisher receives a commemorative mug. Entry information on the organiser's pages shows fees in the range of £27 to £30. The event is open to entrants aged 17 and over on the race date.
A map and a GPX file of the route are provided by the organiser, and there are published medical and anti doping requirements and incident reporting procedures. The organiser reserves the right to cancel, delay, modify or postpone the race for reasons outside its reasonable control and may retain all or part of registration fees in those circumstances. Refunds are not issued to entrants who cannot attend; transfers to another runner may be considered and are not possible within two weeks of the race. The event requests volunteer marshals and helpers for course duties and race operations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
