Event Overview

White Deer Triathlon is a paddle-bike-run event held in Boulder Junction, Wisconsin. The 2026 edition is scheduled for May 16, 2026. The race takes place in the Northwoods area around Boulder Lake and nearby paved roads and forest trails.

Participants complete three legs: a 3 km paddle on Boulder Lake, a 22 km bike ride on paved roads, and a 6 km run on a mix of paved roads and a forest trail. Athletes may use the watercraft of their choice; kayaks with pedals receive a 45-minute time penalty.

The event is open to individual athletes ages 15 to 70+ and to 3-person relay teams, where each person completes one leg of the course.
