White Deer Triathlon - Boulder Junction
The White Deer Triathlon in Boulder Junction, Wisconsin takes place on May 16, 2026. It is a paddle triathlon that combines a lake paddle, a bike ride on paved roads, and a run that includes both on-road and forest trail sections.

Early bird registration runs January 5 through January 31, 2026 at $80 per individual or $175 per three-person relay team. Standard registration runs February 1 through May 8, 2026 at $90 per individual or $185 per three-person relay team. Registration opens January 5. Registration includes a participation medal, a short-sleeved performance t-shirt, refreshments and post-race snacks, a goodie bag, a welcome dinner the night before the race, and an awards ceremony with an after party.
Athlete divisions cover ages 15 through 70 plus with medals for the top three males and females in each category and plaques for the top overall male and female. Three-person relays assign one leg to each team member and award a plaque to the top relay team; all finishers receive a participation medal. Kayaks with pedals carry a 45 minute penalty.
A bike helmet and a personal flotation device are required. Other suggested gear includes running shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, a towel, socks, and filled water bottles. Restrooms or portable toilets are located at the Community Center, the Camp Manito-wish YMCA transition area, the Boulder Lake Boat Landing, and Winter Park. Shuttles will run from the Community Center and the Chamber Office parking lots on race day. Race officials will monitor weather and may postpone, suspend, or cancel the event for visible lightning, an active tornado warning, a severe thunderstorm warning, or high winds that create severe wave action; safety and first aid stations will be available at transition areas and the finish line.
