The Whistle Pig Shadow Chaser is scheduled for Saturday, February 7, 2026, in Nashville, Indiana. The event takes place at the Recreation Building near the campground entrance in Brown County State Park, 1801 E State Road 46, Nashville, IN 47448. Two race options are offered and each has the same listed entry fee of $27. Registration closes on February 5, 2026. Participants are responsible for the Brown County State Park gate fee. Course, shirts and awards

Both races are held entirely on road surfaces. The 5k course runs south from the Recreation Building through the campground, turns around at site 263, and returns to the Recreation Building. The 8k follows the same initial direction, then continues past Hohen Point before turning back to the Recreation Building; the 8k course is subject to change based on road accessibility and conditions. Shirts are available; registrants receive a $5 discount if they decline a shirt. Shirts are guaranteed to those who sign up by January 26 and offered while supplies last afterward. Awards are given to the overall winner of each race and medals are awarded to age group winners. Age groups: 19 and under; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80 and over.
