Whisper Walk - Fitchburg, WI
The Whisper Walk is organized by WOCA and takes place at McKee Farms Park in Fitchburg. The main event is a scenic, paved 2-mile fun run and walk that begins and ends at the McKee Farms Park Pavilion. The course follows paved paths through the park.
Event formats include:
- 2 Miles fun run/walk (untimed)
- Children's run for ages 12 and under (Rascal Romp)
Registration fees vary by registration window: $25 early bird (April 1 - May 31), $30 (June 1 - July 31), and $35 (August 1 - September 18). A separate children's registration fee is listed for the Rascal Romp. Ovarian cancer survivors may register free of charge.
Teams consist of 10 or more people; once a team registers 10 participants, each individual receives a $5 discount. Participants must register before August 31 to qualify for discounted team pricing.
T-shirts are available for pickup the day before the event at McKee Farms Park or on the morning of the event. Participants can create fundraising pages and are eligible for pledge incentives; awards are given to the top pledge raiser and to the team captain with the largest team.
Strollers, wheelchairs and dogs are welcome. Dogs must remain on a leash at all times. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
