Whiskey Row 5K, Louisville, KY

The Whiskey Row 5K is a downtown 5 kilometer road race in Louisville that serves as the first leg of the Louisville Triple Crown of Running presented by the Courier Journal. The event runs through the historic Whiskey Row area and finishes with a post race party outside Louisville Slugger Field.

Registration includes an exclusive wearable swag item, a finisher’s medal, a race bib, and finisher photos. The course is fully supported with premium aid stations and refreshment options such as fresh snacks and one complimentary beer for participants aged 21 and over.

The event offers a virtual option so participants can run from anywhere and still receive swag. Group registration is available for teams and clubs, and volunteer roles cover tasks from packet pickup to medal distribution. The race supports the WHAS Crusade for Children as its charity partner.

The Whiskey Row 5K also forms part of a three race series. The Triple Crown series provides two ways to complete the sequence: the Crown Jewel option pairs the Whiskey Row 5K with the Derby City 10K and the University of Louisville 10 Mile, while the Coronet option pairs the Whiskey Row 5K with the Derby City 5K and the University of Louisville 8K. Series finishers receive additional swag and a series finisher medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
