Whiskey Row 5K - Louisville, KY
The Whiskey Row 5K is a road race scheduled for March 6, 2027 in downtown Louisville. It serves as the first leg of the Louisville Triple Crown of Running series and is presented by the Courier Journal.
The course runs through the historic Whiskey Row area, passing buildings that now house breweries and distilleries, and finishes with a post race party outside Louisville Slugger Field. The event page notes a downtown route and on-course support with premium aid stations.
Registered participants receive event items that include an exclusive wearable swag piece, a finisher’s medal, a race bib, and finisher’s photos. Race day amenities listed include fresh donuts from Jeff’s Donuts and one complimentary beer from TEN20 Craft Brewery for participants aged 21 and over.
The event offers a virtual participation option so entrants can complete the distance from another location and still receive event swag. Group registration and volunteer opportunities are available to support race operations. The Whiskey Row 5K also supports the WHAS Crusade for Children as a charity partner.
As part of the Louisville Triple Crown, the race can be combined with other series events under two series options: the Crown Jewel series (marquee distances) and the Coronet series (shorter distances).
