Reindeer Romp 4k Run/Walk 2026
The event takes place on December 5, 2026 at Hogan's Fountain in Cherokee Park on the Scenic Loop in Louisville, KY. It is part of the River City Races Run the 502 series and serves as the first leg of the Polar Bear Grand Prix winter series.

- Four Kilometer run and walk (2.4 miles)
- Virtual 4k and virtual 4k with packet mailing
Entry includes a long sleeve race shirt (subject to change), free race photography and photos with Rudolph, a finisher medal, and eligibility for age group and overall awards including Masters and Grand Masters. Additional features listed for the event are a team challenge, a costume contest with multiple categories, and a virtual participation option. Costume contest categories include Most Christmasy, Ugliest Sweater, Best Hat, Best Couple Costume, Best Group Costume, Best Stroller Costume, and fastest costumed awards.
The Polar Bear Grand Prix awards a finisher medal for each race that connects to form a larger series medal. The team challenge is open to 3 to 5 person teams in male, female, or coed divisions; the fastest three on each team are scored and coed teams must include at least one woman. Fundraising for the Olmsted Parks Conservancy is affiliated with the event; a fundraising goal and raised amount are listed. Packet mailing requires registration by November 25, 2026 to arrive before the event.
