The Reindeer Romp is a 4 km (2.4 miles) run and walk held on the Scenic Loop in Cherokee Park, Louisville. This event serves as the first leg of the Polar Bear Grand Prix, a three-race series taking place in December, January, and February. It is also part of the River City Races Run the 502 series.
Participants move along a course centered around Hogan's Fountain. The event includes several participation options:

In-person participants receive a long-sleeve race shirt, a finisher medal, and access to free race photography. Awards are presented for various categories, including Age Group, Overall, Masters, and Grand Masters.
The event features a costume contest with categories such as Most Christmasy, Ugliest Holiday Sweater, and Best Group Costume. A Team Challenge is available for groups of three to five people in Male, Female, or Coed divisions.
