42nd Annual Whiskey Rebellion 5K Run and Walk
The Whiskey Rebellion 5K is a 3.1 mile run and walk held in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, on July 4, 2026. The event starts and finishes at Canon Mac Stadium, located at 1 North Jefferson Ave., Canonsburg, PA 15317. It takes place before the Canonsburg parade and is presented as a local Fourth of July tradition.
Event proceeds benefit the Canon-McMillan High School Cross Country Team; the organizer states that 100% of proceeds support the program. Race organization includes corrals by pace to manage the start line and seeding of top runners toward the front of the starting formation. Live split timing is available on course and live result text notifications are offered.
Packet pickup is available the day before at 1 North Jefferson Ave outside the stadium near Sarris Library in the small parking lot with a ticket booth, and on the race day at the stadium. Registration pricing notes an early registration fee of $25 through June 16, which includes a guaranteed race shirt in the selected size, and a late registration fee of $28 from June 17 through July 2 with shirts provided based on availability.
Awards are given to the top five overall male and female finishers and the top three finishers in the following age groups: 11 and under; 12 to 15; 16 to 18; 19 to 24; 25 to 29; 30 to 34; 35 to 39; 40 to 44; 45 to 49; 50 to 54; 55 to 59; 60 to 64; 65 to 69; 70 and over.
