Ugly Sweater Beer Run x Cinderlands
This event is an untimed 5k fun run that starts and ends at the Cinderlands Warehouse taproom in Pittsburgh. The organizer has mapped a roughly 5 kilometer course that goes through the surrounding area and a nearby trail. The course is open and uses public roads, so participants are responsible for obeying traffic laws and for their own safety on the route.
The event format includes a finish-line celebration with live music and a door prize raffle. Each participant receives one free craft beverage from Cinderlands and can choose either a collector's pint glass or a Brewery Running Series swag item. A portion of the event proceeds supports the local nonprofit 412 FOOD RESCUE.
Participation rules note that anyone may take part in the run but a valid ID is required to receive alcoholic beverages. Underage participants may receive a token for a nonalcoholic drink.
