About the race
Lost Souls - The Race That Finds You is a trail running event on Saturday, December 12, 2026, at Settlers Cabin Park (608 Ridge Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15205). The event uses a small trail loop of roughly 5 km that returns to the start after each circuit and climbs about 550 feet per loop.
The event includes two race options:
- 3.23 miles single loop, roughly 5K, ~550 ft elevation gain
- Up to 10 loops ENDURE challenge, up to ~50K, ~5,500 ft total gain
The 5K Loopy Loop is a single-loop trail race. The ENDURE challenge asks runners to complete as many loops as they can within an 8-hour window; runners do not have to start each loop on the hour. The maximum is 10 loops, which the organizer describes as a 50K distance with about 5,500 feet of elevation gain. When a runner decides to stop, they ring a bell and receive a wood chip and a loop count keepsake.
Awards are given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall male and female runners who complete all 10 loops. Registration opens March 18, 2026 for the ENDURE option and March 19, 2026 for the 5K; registration closes December 11, 2026. Registration fees listed are $89.00 for the ENDURE entry and $69.00 for the 5K. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
