Lost Souls - The Race That Finds You
Lost Souls is a looped trail event on the Settlers Cabin Park trails in Pittsburgh, PA (608 Ridge Rd, 15205) held on December 12, 2026. The course is a roughly 5K trail loop that climbs about 550 feet of elevation each lap. Runners return to the same start area after each loop.
The event offers two ways to run the course. The 5K Loopy Loop is a single lap of the loop. The ENDURE challenge gives runners up to eight hours to complete as many loops as they can, with a maximum of ten loops. Runners may begin each subsequent loop when they choose rather than on a fixed hourly schedule.
Ten completed loops equal a roughly 50K distance with about 5,500 feet of cumulative elevation gain. At the end of any lap a runner may stop by ringing a bell and will receive a wood chip that records their loop count. Awards are planned for the first, second, and third overall male and female finishers who complete all ten loops.
