Event Overview

The Whisker Walk/Run is an event held at Shelby Park Riverview Pavilion on Davidson Street in Nashville. This is the fifth annual edition. Proceeds from the event benefit the animal welfare organization True Rescue, which cares for over 400 cats and kittens.

All in-person running and walking events start at the same time.

What to Expect

The event includes music, food trucks, a bake sale, and vendor booths. Prizes are awarded for the most cat-inspired outfit. Leashed dogs are permitted to run with participants.

Registration includes a Whisker Walk T-shirt and a cat ear headband. The registration deadline to guarantee a specific T-shirt size is listed as March 22, 2026.

Awards and Logistics

Overall awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in the timed 5K and 10K events. Age group awards are also presented.
