Whine up the Hill : Park City, KY
Whine up the Hill at The Maple Retreat in Park City, Kentucky is a set of three events held on October 3, 2026. The program includes a timed competitive run/walk, a non-competitive walking option, and a Kid's Run on a shorter loop.
The main course is a 2.24 mile route that climbs a hill and passes through vineyard scenery with tasting stations available for participants aged 21 and older. The timed Whine up the Hill event awards the top three overall male and female finishers and awards division winners in 10 year age groups. The Sip n Stroll uses the same 2.24 mile course as a relaxed, non-competitive walk and does not offer awards.
The Kid's Run is a short loop around the hilltop for ages 6 to 12 and includes a shirt and a finishers medal. Participants aged 21 and older at eligible events receive a commemorative wine glass; photo ID is required at packet pickup. Registration fees listed for the events are $30 for the run/walk and Sip n Stroll, and $15 for the Kid's Run.
Proceeds from the event benefit Life Choice Pregnancy Care Center of Franklin, Kentucky, which provides services such as pregnancy testing, limited obstetric ultrasound, parenting classes, baby items, and pregnancy options coaching.
