The courses begin and end at Ed Spear Park. Over 90% of the route is paved and the remaining 10% is gravel. The course includes moderate hills and several railroad crossings where participants may be stopped. Marathon and half marathon participants receive a shirt and a unique medal that features the two communities. All 5K participants receive a shirt and medal, and dog finishers receive a bandana. Awards are distributed by age and gender categories.
The Puppy PACE 5K is hosted in partnership with the Warren County Public Library and Warren County Parks and Recreation and is described as family friendly and dog friendly. Early packet pick up for the marathon and half marathon is available Friday May 8 at Ed Spear Park.
