The Wheat Ridge Half Marathon & 5k
The event takes place on Sunday, July 5, 2026 at Prost Brewing Clear Creek Crossing in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. The course starts and finishes at Prost Brewing and follows the Clear Creek Trail with out-and-back sections to the east and west. The route includes a final mile that runs downhill and a moderate total elevation change of about 700 ft. Aid stations are positioned every 2 to 2.5 miles and toilets are available along the course and at the start and finish. Carrying a personal water bottle or hydration pack is permitted and refills are available at aid stations.

Packet pick-up is offered the Friday before the event and on race day. The half marathon is open to runners 14 years and older. The 5k allows dogs, running strollers, and children; kids under 12 run free in the 5k. All participants receive a finisher medal; registered half marathoners receive a short-sleeve unisex tech shirt and 5k registrants may receive a regular unisex T-shirt if they register by June 20, subject to availability. The post-event activities at the brewery include live music, food trucks, vendors, giveaways, door prizes, and beer for those 21 and older with valid ID. A portion of proceeds supports a local nonprofit partner.
