The Wheat Ridge Half Marathon & 5k

The event on Sunday, September 6, 2026, includes a Half Marathon and a 5k and takes place at Prost Brewing Wheat Ridge at Clear Creek Crossing in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.

The course starts and finishes at the brewery on the Clear Creek Trail. The route begins with an out-and-back to the west (about 2.5 miles round trip) and continues with an out-and-back to the east from mile 2.5 to 13.1. The course has a moderate elevation change of roughly 700 feet. Aid stations are located every 2 to 2.5 miles and toilets are available at several points along the course and at the start and finish. Participants may carry their own water and refill at aid stations. A bag check will be available.

Event services and rules: the half marathon is chip timed and open to runners aged 14 and up; the 5k is an untimed fun run. Dogs, running strollers, and children are permitted in the 5k; children under 12 run free. All participants receive a finisher's medal. Half marathon registrants receive a short sleeve tech shirt and 5k registrants receive a regular unisex shirt if registered by August 20; alternate swag may be provided if shirts are unavailable. The post event area includes live music, food trucks, local vendors, door prizes, and beer for attendees aged 21 and over. Refund and transfer policies are published by the organizer.
