General Information
The Wharton 5K is the largest running event held at the University of Pennsylvania. Organized by the Wharton Council and the Wharton Roadrunners, the 14th Annual Wharton 5K takes place in Philadelphia. The event brings together students, staff, and community members to support Kesem, an organization that provides experiences and community support for children affected by a parent's cancer.
Location and Course
The event is held at Shoemaker Green, located on 33rd Street. The start and staging area is situated between the Palestra and Franklin Field.

Awards and Amenities
Individual awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers. The event also recognizes team achievements with special awards for the fastest team and the most spirited team. The fastest team award is determined by the lowest aggregate time of a team's five fastest runners. Teams with at least five participants are entered into a raffle for various prizes and gift cards.
