About the race
The 14th Annual WFPS Run takes place in Winnipeg, Manitoba on October 18, 2026. The event includes multiple race distances and a children’s Teeny Trot, with pre-race family activities the day before.

Registration for all distances is listed as closed and the event is marked sold out. Online registration had tiered pricing periods (early, regular, late) and a family discount option was offered for a family 5 km entry (2 adults, up to 3 children). A volunteer program and participant transfer option were listed for the event.
The Teeny Trot is a 1 km course on a pathway measured as 500 m out and 500 m back. Children may run on their own or with a parent or guardian; the child must be registered while the parent or guardian does not need to register. Registered Teeny Trot participants received a post-race medal, a commemorative race bib, and snacks. A blow-up archway was provided for the start and finish of the kids’ race.
