Weymouth Woods 25K/50K Trail Run
The Weymouth Woods 25K/50K Trail Run takes place at the Weymouth Woods-Sandhills Nature Preserve in Southern Pines, North Carolina. The course consists of natural trails containing roots and sand, situated under a canopy of long leaf pine trees. This event serves as a fundraiser, with all proceeds donated to the Friends of Weymouth Woods.
The race offers two distinct distances:
- 25K
- 50K
This is a cupless event, requiring participants to provide their own reusable cups, flasks, or bottles for hydration. A stocked aid station is located at the start and finish area. There is also designated space for runners to set up personal aid stations, chairs, or drop bags.
Electronic timing is provided for both distances. All registered participants receive a t-shirt, though specific size requests are only guaranteed for those who register by March 8. Finishers receive a medal upon completion of the course. The event follows specific attendance policies, as t-shirts are not mailed to those who do not attend, and refunds are not provided.
