Downtown Jasper Turkey Trot 5K - Nov 26, 2026
The Downtown Jasper Turkey Trot 5K is a community 5-kilometer run/walk held on Thanksgiving Day, Nov 26, 2026. The course starts and ends at Downtown Running, 605 Main Street, Jasper, IN 47546. The registration fee is $30; registration opens May 1 and closes on Nov 26.
Timing is provided via chip bib timing by To The Finish LLC. A Brooks shirt is guaranteed for entrants who register by Nov 4; shirts after that date are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at packet pickup.
Awards are given to overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & over.
Packet pickup is Wednesday, Nov 25, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and Thursday, Nov 26, 6:30 am to 7:45 am at Downtown Running (605 Main Street around the square). Race day registration is available Thursday, Nov 26, 6:30 am to 7:45 am at Downtown Running. Parking is available in the GAB parking lot next to Downtown Running and the City Hall parking lot. The square in front of Quilted Peace and Downtown Running/Merle Norman/Wood Capital Building is closed to parking on Thanksgiving morning before and during the event. Main Street will be blocked from 7th Street to 6th Street around the square from 6:30 am to 10:00 am to keep the finish area open. Courthouse restrooms will be available for participants. Proceeds will be donated to Girls On The Run of Southwest Indiana and the Greater Downtown Jasper Business Association. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
