Downtown Jasper Turkey Trot 5K - November 26, 2026
The Downtown Jasper Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving Day 5K run/walk held in downtown Jasper, Indiana. The course starts and finishes at Downtown Running, located at 605 Main Street, and covers a distance of 3.1 miles.
Registration opens May 1, 2026 and closes on November 26, 2026. The registration fee is $30. Chip bib timing is provided by To The Finish LLC. A Brooks shirt is guaranteed for registrations received by November 4; shirts registered for after that date are limited and extra shirts, if any, will be distributed at packet pickup on a first come first serve basis.
Packet pickup is scheduled for November 25 and November 26 at Downtown Running, 605 Main Street. Race day registration is available at Downtown Running. Parking is available in the GAB parking lot next to Downtown Running and in the City Hall parking lot. Parking is not permitted on the square in front of Quilted Peace or in front of Downtown Running/Merle Norman/Wood Capital Building on Thanksgiving morning.
Main Street will be blocked from 7th Street to 6th Street around the square during race morning to keep the finish area open. Courthouse restrooms will be available for participants. Awards are given to overall male and female finishers and to male and female age group finishers, 1st through 3rd, in the following age groups: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over. Proceeds will be donated to Girls On The Run of Southwest Indiana and the Greater Downtown Jasper Business Association. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
