Westview Orchards Haunted Wine Run 5K
This event is a chip-timed 5k held at Westview Orchards & Winery in Washington, Michigan on October 25, 2026. The course runs on dirt and gravel roads through the orchards and includes some areas of uneven footing. The route is open to both runners and walkers; with over 1,000 participants expected, faster runners are asked to start near the front and walkers near the back to reduce congestion.
Registration includes a super soft ring spun cotton T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass for eligible participants, a finisher medal, and a race bib. Results are posted online and participants aged 21 and over receive a pour of wine at the finish. Minors receive a discounted registration that includes a shirt, medal, and bib but not a wine glass or a pour. The event supports Nik’s Wish as its charity partner.
Age group awards are offered for 10-year divisions from 19 & under through 80 and over, with the top three finishers in each category receiving custom awards. Competitive runners must start with the first group to be eligible for age group awards. Packet pickup is held the night before at the winery and on race day at the venue. Strollers are permitted but not recommended because of uneven ground; dogs are not allowed on site due to farm restrictions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
