Shelby Township Jingle Bell Run
The Shelby Township Jingle Bell Run takes place on December 13, 2026 at Burgess-Shadebush Nature Center in River Bends Park, Shelby Township, MI. The event is the 16th annual edition and offers both timed and untimed 5K options on a well marked, certified 5K course. All participants receive an event shirt and post-race snacks. The timed option records finish times and is eligible for awards.

- 3.1 Miles untimed 5K walk without recorded finish times
Registration opens June 4, 2026 and closes October 15, 2026; the listed registration fee is $35.00. Early packet pickup and registration are available on Saturday, December 12 from noon until 5 pm at Hanson's Running Shop in Utica on Hall Road. Day-of check-in and registration occur at the park; entrants are asked to enter the park at the Hamlin/Ryan Road entrance where signs will direct parking and check-in.
The timed event includes awards for Overall male and female, Masters male and female, Senior Masters male and female, and medals to the top three in each age group. The event features over $2500 in raffle prizes. Proceeds benefit Penrickton Center for Blind Children, Macomb County Special Olympics, Cat Tail Acres, Great Lakes Burn Center, and K9 Rescue.
