Weston 5 Mile Prom Race
The Weston 5 Mile Prom Race is held as a series of nine races on these dates: 17 September 2026, 22 October 2026, 19 November 2026, 3 December 2026, 28 January 2027, 18 February 2027, 18 March 2027, 15 April 2027 and 27 May 2027. Race headquarters is at Revo, Marine Parade, Weston-super-Mare, BS23 1BE.
The course is a flat out-and-back one-lap route on Weston Prom with a race permit. The route is fully marshalled and finishes through a finish pen. Chip timing is used and results are posted to Power of 10. An event risk assessment is undertaken for safety.
Entry is available online and on the night. The entry fee is £2 per race or £10 for the full series of nine races. Runners are organised by school year groups: Reception to Year 6 and Year 7 to Year 11. Children in Reception and Year 1 must run with a parent or guardian. Wristbands will be issued to a parent or guardian of children in Years 2, 3 and 4 and must be returned at the exit of the finish pen when the child is collected; parents may request that a child remain in the pen for collection at registration. Race numbers are distributed on the day. Prizes are awarded for 1st to 3rd male and female in each age category; series prizes require completion of at least five of the first eight races.
