Event details
The Westerville Donut Run and Walk takes place on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Alum Creek Park North in Westerville, Ohio (221 W Main Street, Westerville, OH 43081). The event includes in-person and virtual options and a free kids race. Distances offered include:
- 1 mile
- 5K
- 10K
- Kids Donut Dash (free option)
- Virtual events in all distances
Race services and participant items
All 1 mile, 5K, and 10K participants receive a freshly baked Dunkin' donut at the finish. Participants also receive finish line photos, ring spun blended shirts, custom race bibs, chip timing with instant results, snacks, fruit, and refreshments. The first 600 registrants are eligible for full color custom diecast finisher medals. The course runs near Uptown Westerville and along Alum Creek and features a photo opportunity in front of a 25 foot tall inflatable donut.
Participants may choose their primary giveaway item between additional donuts, a race t-shirt, or a tutu (color chosen during packet pickup). Additional apparel such as long sleeve shirts and hooded sweatshirts are available for purchase through the event store. Kids Donut Dash participants receive a Dunkin' donut regardless of the swag option selected. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
