Westcountry Ultra Hilly 50 miler
Westcountry Ultra Hilly 50 is a 50-mile trail ultra run by Albion Running, starting and finishing at West Somerset College in Minehead, Somerset. The route climbs about 7,337 ft, taking in North Hill and Bossington Hill, Culbone with the UK’s smallest parish church, Porlock Weir, and Dunkery Beacon, plus long coastal and forest sections from Porlock to Horner. It is partly out-and-back with an extra loop, famed for its spectacular scenery—from ancient woodlands to cliff-edge views.
The race is cupless, with six aid stations, medical support, and a 16-hour cut-off. Pacing isn’t allowed; crews and supporters are welcome. GPX file and finish medals for all; course records listed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
