About the race
The Westbridge 5 is a flat and fast 5-mile multi-terrain race held annually in Stone, Staffordshire. The course features a variety of surfaces including parkland, canal towpaths, unmade tracks, footpaths, country lanes, and a short stretch of trunk road. Starting at Westbridge Park near the town center, the route follows the Trent and Mersey canal south to Aston village before looping back to the finish.
Limited to 250 runners, the event welcomes all abilities and is part of the North Staffs Road Runners program. Participants receive a bespoke local alcoholic or non-alcoholic memento, with prizes for top finishers and teams. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
